Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of CalJam, a browser extension that connects to Google Calendar and plays a user-selected reminder sound before upcoming meetings.
Use of CalJam
You may use CalJam to connect your own Google Calendar account, view upcoming calendar events in the extension, configure reminder timing, and select or upload local reminder sounds.
Google Calendar access
CalJam requests read-only access to upcoming Google Calendar events so it can schedule meeting reminders. You are responsible for granting access only to accounts you own or are authorized to use. You can revoke CalJam's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
Local audio files
You are responsible for the audio files you upload or select in CalJam. You should only use audio files that you have the right to use. Uploaded audio files are stored locally in your browser profile and are not uploaded to a CalJam server.
No guarantee of uninterrupted reminders
CalJam uses browser extension APIs, local browser storage, and Chrome alarms to provide reminders. Browser sleep, operating system power settings, network issues, revoked permissions, or Google Calendar API availability may delay or prevent reminders.
Prohibited use
You may not use CalJam to violate laws, infringe third-party rights, interfere with Google services, reverse engineer the extension in violation of applicable law, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
Disclaimer
CalJam is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. CalJam is not responsible for missed meetings, delayed reminders, or losses resulting from reliance on the extension.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of CalJam after changes means you accept the updated terms.
